Official Fact Sheet:

Tak and the Power of Juju is a fantasy tale of good and evil set in an ancient, tribal world where Juju magic really works. Players assume the role of Tak, a young and playful shaman’s apprentice, and will need to recover moonstones stolen by an evil Jujuman to save the Moon Juju and restore her powers.

  • Tak will have to stretch beyond his shaman training and use his wits, environment and the power of the Juju gods to overcome the villain, Tlaloc. His challenge is to return the five moonstones to the Temple of the Moon Juju and reinstate peace in his mystical world.
  • Using the right combinations of animals, plants, weapons and water, Tak can summon Jujus throughout each level and go forth throughout this non-linear adventure land. Furthermore, special Juju powers and power-ups are granted when Tak accomplishes tasks to appease the Gods.
  • Alongside the help of the Juju spirit world, players will also need to equip Tak’s inventory and learn to master the many items at hand, including the spirit rattle, pole vault and, of course, the obligatory blowpipe. All of the items Tak stumbles upon during his adventure play an integral part in his quest to save the villagers.
  • Tak and the Power of Juju features immersive environments complete with splendid real world physics that create realistic ripples in water, swinging ropes, real-time lighting, self-shadowing and active plant technology. It’s as close to the jungle as you’re going to get in Blighty.
