not competing with EA sports October 22, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I really dont think anyone is coming close to competing with EA sports right now. We all know fifa has been closing in recently and just how good tiger woods is. Something you may not know however is JUST HOW GOOD MADDEN 09 is. It will blow you away even if youre not a huge fan. you will be MADDEN NFL 09 (PS3)
pes 08 October 11, 2008 ok if your a great at footie games get it the difference between pes08 and fifa 08 is that with pes you can score more realistic goals wonder goals when its raining its good to shoot outside the box because the goalie thumbells when the ball is wet while fifa you score the same goals pes is a good buy
It's a good game August 29, 2008 I got this game with my spending money because I was fed up off playing with retired players on Pro evoloution soccer 3 (thats old). I was expecting it 2 be da same but u know what it has a huge difference such as it shows the referee u choose which ball you want to play with and what I wanted da most, it had all da knew players. DA thing which I like about the game is that the awsome players such as Christiano Ronaldo does tricks on his own when other players come to tackle him. BUt da thing is not all the players look da same as on real football, tores has short hair, Beckham looks toooooooootally different. Overall buy it!
Not much fun August 15, 2008 This game is not bad, just not a lot a fun to play. I'm sure it's a very faithful football sim, but only if you've learned eveything you know about football from Chelsea a couple of years ago and the old Arsenal.
I'd advise to stick to Pro-Evo 6 or if you have a Wii, go for Wii Pro-Evo '08. It re-introduces things like fun and a feeling of control to the series.
All in all, solid but dull.
A bit disappointed July 5, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm quite disappointed of this version of Pro Evo, I thought this will have better graphics and game play, but I was totally let down. Pro Evo 8's game play is, more or less, the same as Pro Evo 6. This game is only worth buying if you want updated team members for club, country, etc. That's about it. The graphics hasn't been improved at all.
I'm not too bothered with the new sets of menus and music that everyone is getting annoyed of. I guess the reason why this game is so expensive at the moment is because of the new graphical menus they have introduced to game, rather than improving the the game play and the actual graphics of the game.
